Take your homemade pizza game up a notch with this super easy version topped with fresh pesto, crisp prosciutto and creamy ricotta. Let’s make our own fancy pizza at home with some fresh homemade pesto. This pizza is perfect for date-nights-in or any day the ends in “Y” when you want something special that doesn’t take special-level amounts of work!

Heat your oven to 400 degrees. Dump basil, Parmesan, olive oil, pine nuts and garlic into your blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

Drizzle a parchment lined baking sheet with some more Pesto Olive Oil. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a circle or rectangle getting it as thin as you can. Lift the dough and place it on the baking sheet.

Layer the pesto, ricotta, mushrooms, shredded mozzarella and prosciutto. Bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling for 15-20 minutes. Add more pesto if desired and drizzle more Pesto Olive Oil on top and add some fresh pepper.
