Instructions

  1. Rinse the asparagus under cold water and cut the hard ends off.
  2. Place asparagus into a bowl with olive oil, salt and pepper and toss to coat.
  3. Unroll the puff pastry sheet and cut into 1/2 inch wide strips. The length will depend on the the length of the asparagus.
  4. Take a piece of prosciutto and wrap it around the asparagus spear and then take a strip of dough and wrap it around , leaving some free space in between.
  5. Place finished spears on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
